Rev War Re-enactors, Units and Organizations

This is a growing list of American Rev War units anywhere in the world. All these web sites offer histories of the original units and most include photos or illustrations. Some even offer extensive documentation.

18c New England Life, formerly known as the Battle Road Clothing & Accoutrements Site, was originally designed as an accessible archive of information for those who attended Battle Road 2000, an event commemorating the 225th Anniversary of the beginning of the American Revolution.

The Brigade of the American Revolution (BAR) is an East Coast reenactment organization similar to the NWTA.

The British Brigade portrays British and American soldiers and their families who served their country while fighting and dying for their beliefs as Loyalists.

The Burning of the Valleys Military Association (BVMA) is composed of units which reenact, mostly, the Revolutionary War in the Mohawk, Schoharie and Upper Hudson Valleys.

The Continental Line, Inc., is an educational organization of recreated units representing the Continental Army, the various colonial militias, the Continental Navy, the Continental Marines, and units in the service of the French King during the American Revolution.

The Field Music of the American Revolution is the combined music of five different Revolutionary War organizations.

Clark's Illinois Regiment. Six line companies and three militia companies.

The Culpeper Minute Battalion (NWTA) is based in Illinois and recreates a very early, partially uniformed Virginia militia company.

Haslet's Delaware Regiment, Light Infantry Company in Southern California.

Huntington Militia, Capt. Joshua Roger's Company. The Official Colonial Guard of the Town of Huntington.

Lauzun’s Legion was part of the French military establishment serving in the American colonies (NWTA).

The 55th Regiment of Foot, Cap't James Taylor Trevor's Battalion Co'y, (NWTA) recreates a typical county regiment at the Battle of Long Island, 1776.
